He dunked it in the toilet ...

Yes, you read that subject line correctly ...

My two year old son did indeed dunk his sister's toy bunny in the toilet ...

But you know what?

He had good intentions and was actually trying to do the right thing.

(Not unlike someone who is trying to eat healthy, get fit and improve their performance on the golf course ...)

How so?

Well lets just say the messages got a little bit mixed.

EXACTLY the way messages around what we should or shouldn't be eating get mixed ...

Gus is loving being 'helpful' at the moment ...

So I asked him to help me tidy up the organised chaos we were calling our lounge ...

We started with the soft toys ...

"OK Gus, please put these soft toys in the TOY BASKET ..."

Must have been my strange brand of mumbling in a weak kiwi accent ...

But he picked up two bunnies and trotted off in the opposite direction from the TOY BASKET ...

Saying something quietly to himself about putting them in the TOILET ...

Well, its fair to say, I wasn't quick enough ...

One of the bunnies received a full toilet-bath.

While poor Gus thought he was doing exactly the right thing.

Mixed messages ... Misunderstandings ...

Exactly what I see when talking to people about "Eating Healthy".

And who can blame them ...?

Its a vague term.

And we are bombarded by mis-information and marketing around food every single day ...

You want to be heading to the TOY BASKET ...

Losing weight. Getting healthy. Managing your blood sugar. Preventing disease. Playing better golf.

While the large industrial food companies who have you addicted to their Processed Cr*P are leading you to the TOILET ...

So where is the TOY BASKET of nutrition...?

Its plants and animals ...

Its in the fruit and veg section ...

Its in the meat section ...

Maybe some quality dairy if you can tolerate it ...

Grab some coconut oil, olive oil, nuts and seeds and butter while you are there.

The TOILET ...?

All the other Processed Cr*P - breads, cereals, pastas, muffins, cakes, donuts ...

Masquerading as FOOD.

Not plants. Not animals.

Don't make Gussie's mistake ...!
